Eucalyptus camphora - Swamp Gum

A popular small to medium sized tree. One of a few Eucalypts that can tolerate semi-shade, being a Swamp Gum it also thrives in wetter conditions. Unusual in that the young leaves are heart-shaped.

Soil: Wet Tolerent, Dry Tolerant, Clay Tolerant
Position: Full Sun or Part Shade
Growth Habit: Compact shape, dense foliage
Leaves: Young leaves are heart-shaped (obcordate), mature leaves moreelliptical, green to blue-green in colour.
Bark: Smooth or partially rough, white-grey to green or yellow, slightly powdery.
Special Interest: Strong Aroma, Heart-shaped young leaves
